Goldie’s Glitter Paper

Apparently, giving a pixie her own newspaper has consequences.

Against all reasonable expectations concerning pixie attention spans, Goldie has returned with Issue 002 of Goldie’s Glitter Paper. I thought her first issue might satisfy her journalistic ambitions. Instead, she has acquired correspondents, expanded her investigations, and started correcting my editorial notes in purple ink.

I may have created a problem.

This time, Goldie has embraced autumn, Halloween, and Samhain with her usual complete lack of restraint. She’s reporting on the latest developments surrounding Bane of Dark Gods, interrogating Raor about his questionable behavior at Atheneum, and following new leads in the search for Riasg. She’s also consulted actual witches about Halloween, investigated Marsh Stranglers and carnivorous pond plants, and gathered troubling evidence that my newest Cairn Terrier, Faelin, might actually be a Water Wolf.

Naturally, there’s time for Maple Butter Tart Tea, carrot cake scones, fae gossip, Samhain forecasts, reader letters, questionable travel advice, and classifieds of varying legitimacy.

There are also whispers that certain endings may not have been quite as final as previously advertised.

I have no comment.

Goldie, unfortunately, has several.

So pour yourself something warm, settle into a comfortable chair, and enjoy the latest dispatches from worlds where magic is dangerous, curiosity is rarely rewarded, and journalistic ethics are apparently optional.

Just don’t accept any mysterious beverages from the fae.

Goldie says you should ask what’s in them first.
