As I edit, I collect some of my favorite lines from the book to share later. Some are short enough to use on Twitter and others … well, they just beg to have a picture added!
Despite being the villain of the series, Sinika is actually one of my favorite characters from epic fantasy the Rise of the Fifth Order trilogy. He is just so in control and a smart ass, devious and so intelligent he keeps me guessing what he is up to. Seriously, he had strategies in motion chapters before I figured out what he was up to as I wrote the three books.
But every once in awhile, he loses his cool. He is a Fire Elemental after all! 😉
Usually, that results in someone dying a few chapters later in a brilliantly played act of revenge. But that moment when he is riled and struggles to remain outwardly calm is a window into his deepest fears and passions … as well as a glimpse of how strong his self-control is!
I thought I would share one of those moments from Spirit of Life when there are MANY things testing Sinika’s patience!
