I snuck in an unnanounced release as a surprise for the fans of my elemental magic series as a Valentine’s surprise. This isn’t how you are supposed to do book releases, but I didn’t want to wait for this short story collection set in the world of Myrrah.
Because, I didn’t want my fans to wait either!
So I broke all the rules and rolled out this…
You see, I learned just a few weeks ago that a novella tied up in the Storms of Fate & Fury boxset was now mine to do with as I please. And, of course, I wanted to publish it!
So I bundled up all of the short stories, novellas, and novelettes I’d been writing set in the world of Myrrah, put them in chronological order, and was shocked to see that I had a book length release to send out to the world! Untold Stories from the World of Myrrah is over 90,000 words in length, which is nothing to sneeze at. Born of Water is 105,000 words so this is really a full sized book filled with adventure that didn’t make it into the epic fantasy novels.
And it is the ONLY place you will find the Black Marsh, a novella that spans the time after Spirit of Life ends and before Spark of Defiance begins.
This is Laireag’s tale as he struggles with the painful loss of his love after the fighting in Drufforth. A journey to see the Sphere of Air is meant to be a distraction, but the dangerous traverse of the black marsh in the Coast of Storms holds more threats than man-eating plants.
