If you haven’t seen previous posts, I really, really love this series. Not that I don’t adore my two epic fantasy series Rise of the Fifth Order and Games of Fire. But whenever I listen to or read Friends of my Enemy, I find myself sucked back into the story, the characters, and their very personal battles set amid a future war. If magic and friendship can save the day in my epic fantasy books, cleverness and loyalty MIGHT keep you alive in Friends of my Enemy. A story with no magic and lots of difficult problems, this storyline weaves a tight plot. I can’t help but love it even if it is overshadowed by its much brighter siblings of epic fantasy novels!

Before I wrote this first part, First Meeting, I never would have understood the possibility of falling in love outside of a marriage, even unintentionally much less to good people.
