A Bargain’s Price

To win honor, would you betray a respected enemy? What bargain would you strike to end a war? Choices and unfolding consequences lace the pages of this short story.

Next month the plan is to share a story set in the World of Myrrah, but when I recently stumbled upon this short story and realized it was a continuation to last month’s short, short story, I had to share.

This section was from the plan for a full book, begun before Born of Water. The ending gives away that more should come after.

Reading it, I’m enjoying the characters and history again, but also understand why I moved on. I wanted something not so typical of fantasy as knights. But it does make me smile and think, well maybe I should at least name this kingdom… if I don’t stumble on my old writing notes from it and find what I called it then!
