Calling all fans of my epic fantasy series on elemental magic!
Would you like to read the next book before it is released?
Spark of Defiance, book 1 of the trilogy Games of Fire which continues the story of Rise of the Fifth Order, is at the editors. I’m working on the cover (it will be gorgeous!). And a release date of March 30th is looking … good.
So now I need to create a launch team for its release!
What is a launch team?
It is an exchange. A reader (you) will receive an Advanced Review Copy of a book BEFORE it has been released by agreeing to leave an honest review – specifically during launch week in this case.
So by joining my launch team, you would receive Spark of Defiance while everyone else is merely enjoying the cover reveal!
Why exactly are reviews important?
Yes, a review definitely helps other readers make a decision if a book is worth reading. But it is more than that. Reviews, especially during launch week, can be pivotal to the success of a book.
Reviews are helpful for rankings and exposure. A newly released book with even a handful of reviews will fare better, and get higher in Amazon’s rankings and promotions, than one that has no reviews and is static. Plus many of the quality advertising companies will not agree to advertise a book unless it has a certain minimum number of 4 or 5 star reviews. You read that right: companies will not take my money to advertise my book unless a certain number of people have validated that book with awesome reviews. How is that for explaining how important a review is?
Reviews are important enough that I’m willing to give away copies of an unreleased book in the hopes you will like it and for the price of your promise to leave a review.
You want in?
Great! Go here to apply (It is only 7 questions):
And hey, if you have three minutes to spare, please head over and leave a short (or long) review with your thoughts on one of my books. Or heck, any author’s books. We all need them. Every review helps tremendously.
