It is finally time!
Late on Thursday, I finally finished my BIG editing round. I finally conquored that problematic chapter that had me stuck for a couple of weeks.
It was a chapter that I hated.
Set was right at the end of the big climax. Everything, five books worth of hopes, dreams, and battles rested in those few thousandwords. And I thought it was horrible.
So I pulled it apart, rewrote it, rewrote it again, thought about it, brainstormed with a friend and fellow writer, and then FINALLY wrote it. Oh, and it became two chapters too. And then I had to rearrange a few things. And…
Anyway, I’m now onto my final rounds of edits before the entire manuscript goes to my editor. We have a date set for that. Which means, knowing when he’ll take over, how long he takes to edit, then formatting… I actually know a reasonable time frame for release!

I wish the release were sooner. I really wanted the book available BEFORE Christmas. But I also wanted this story to be awesome. And it is! I love it. And at 53 chapters and 130,000 words, it will keep you reading for hours as pivotal events and epic battles unfold.
